Your First Lyme Disease Consultation: Cost & Insurance

The initial Lyme Consultation & Evaluation Appointment is $325.

Some insurance companies pay for the consultation, some do not. Please be sure to know how you are going to pay for this consultation, before you make your first appointment. Some people wait till the last minute, find out it's not covered, and simply do not show up to their initial consultation. This gives our office no time to reschedule other patients. To minimize this, we do require a 48 hour notification if you are canceling your initial consultation, or you will be billed the full $325.

If you have any questions about our costs or insurance coverage, please feel free to talk to our office staff by calling 215-256-0050.

The cost of treatment plans vary, based on your test results. Whenever possible we will work with your insurance plan to the best of our ability, submitting all the paperwork and working through your policy.

If you don't understand your insurance coverage, please give us a call and we will try to assist you. Don't forget you are responsible for the deductible before your insurance company's funds kick in. And ultimately, you are responsible for paying for all Lyme treatment services (including testing, office visits, blood work, etc). It's important to know how you are planning to financially handle your tests and possible treatments before you start.

If you have any questions about our costs or insurance coverage, please feel free to talk to our office staff by calling 215-256-0050.

We are an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies except Medicare:

Insurance companies we do NOT participate in:

  • Aetna HMO/POS
  • Keystone

And others. In these situations we are not recognized at all. So, unfortunately, you would have to pay for all your expenses. There are no reimbursements from the insurance company.
